So far I have not had any iPod cut-outs, but I haven't yet done any really heavy web browsing while listening. About the only time I have seen the music cut-out is when an incoming call interrupts. Then it just does the appropriate fade out.

I haven't yet tried attaching to a sleeping MacBook for an extended period. The one time I did plug-in to my sleeping MacBook, it work it up with the lid still shut.

Hey,

While I'm feeling stupid for not seeing this earlier - have you seen any problems with music ceasing to play while using safari to load/reload pages? And have you noticed that the iPhone seems to discharge when left hooked up to a sleeping or dormant macbook? I found the iPhone at 20% charge last night after I left it attached to the MacBook sleeping. It charges back very quickly, but that seemed pretty odd.
